Jeffery Annon is director of the data management center of the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute. He has another trip planned for December 22-January5 so he won't be able to join us.

Alan Balasbas works for Airborne Express and resides in Fremont, CA

Doug Beerman is going to join us. I believe he still works for HPD as he has given the address "801 S. Beretania.

Andrew Ching will be joining us, and he reports that he's still at Safeway (Aikahi Park) and has two kids, Matthew and Bethany.

Chrys A. Cundiff - Since graduating from Damien Memorial, I've lived in California and Massachusetts, and I now live in Florida. I am an artist, and I do sculpture. I am also a Web site designer.

John Conley: John graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in 1982 and obtained his Master's degree from GA State Univ. in 1989. John worked as a mental health therapist and program administrator until 1997. He switched careers and is now working for Motorola as the race director for the annual Motorola marathon. John resides in Texas and has 2 daughters: Akira and Aliyah.

Francis and Natlynn Cunningham will be joining us. Francis currently with the Navy Public Works Center here at Pearl Harbor.

Keevin Fisher: Keevin has been employed by the Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and Hughes Aircraft. He is currently a supervisor at Raytheon in So. Calif. and works part-time for the local sherrif's department.

Bryan Gomes - Wasted too much of my parents money at LMU but finally got my act together and got my Bus degree from the Univ.of San Diego in '79(had to do some major summer/winter sessions to catch up). Came back home and have been in sales since ... Xerox,Kodak,had my own bakery business for 8 1/2 years, back to sales at a local petroleum company and now selling for Matson, where I ran into Jason Nakao a few weeks ago. Just can't seem to hold on to a job for more than 5 yrs... thank God my wife(Barb) has been more successful, she's the Regional Dir. of Sales for AT&T's Business Group here in Hawaii. Like I say .. it's not how much you know, but who you marry that counts!! Barb and I have 2 kids .. Thomas(4 1/2) and Katie(almost 2).

Cedric Goo: Cedric resides in Norwalk, Connectcut where he works for the City of Norwalk as a Housing inspector. He has been in Norwalk since 1985 and is also a food inspector and sanitarian.

Jayson Goo - I got married 8 years ago and for about the last 17 years I've been working as an athletic trainer at UH. I know we're getting old because Walter Kaiahili's oldest daughter just finished here softball career here.


Bruce Irvine -I have been married for seven years now. My wife Faye and I have three children a step daughter Julia age ten from my wife's first marriage and two boys Bryce-William age seven and Jacob three. My oldest son is in his first year singing for the Honolulu Boy Choir. His debut will be Center Stage Ala Moana Dec. 2, 2000.
I work for the Department of Defense at Schofield Barracks as the Facility Manager for Bennett Youth Center. I've been with the Army for eighteen years first as a lifeguard at different Army pools and beaches. I then moved on to work at the various Army fitness centers. I finally realized I needed a real job in order to raise a family here in Hawaii ,so I applied for the position to the Youth Center.I've been working there since January 2000.I worked for the Honolulu City and County as a lifeguard at various beaches from 1979 -1985 this was after spending a couple of years in the navy. I'm still certified as a life guard and I do part time work for one of our alumnus Keith Kanno.
My wife Faye works as an Educational Assistant at Kailua Intermediate working with emotionally troubled kids. I see Richard Bowles at sporting events for our kids. Steve Ozoa and Geoff Lee both work for the Army.I used to see Dave Kiambao at one of our fitness centers.I ran into Ron Shimabukuro at an army swimming pool (Retired?).I golf with Geoff Lee, Shawn Morey, and Stuart Silva. I see Ronnie Keene, David Hara ,Adam Meyers ,Abe Grace, Walter, Paul, Remo, Val, Isaac, Clement Padeken, Peter Jay every now and then.

Peter Jay - Peter Jay has been with State Farm for the past 15 years as a claim
specialist. He has a 10-year-old son who plays sports year round. He has spent the past few years coaching or watching his son's sports and is his biggest fan!

Randall Kam - Graduated Loyola Marymount U. in 1979 and USC School of Dentistry in 1983. Married Gloria, a fellow LMU grad. We have five children :Bryan 18, Kevin 16, Lucas 14, Zachary 12, Zoe 9. Homeschooling all of them until they were of high school age. Bryan is attending Princeton now. Kevin is a junior at Servite HS, a Catholic, male only school (sound familiar?)Living in Fullerton, CA. I am trying to run fifty marathons before I turn 50 years old, I have done 27 so far.One dental practice in Buena Park and the other in Tehachapi(4000ft up in the mountains)

John Keenan: John is married and he and Katharine have three sons, John, Matthew and Brendan.

Derrick Mamiya would like a men only night as well as a family event. He and his wife will be joining us. Derrick is based in San Fran as a flight attendant with United Airlines. He wants to brag about his one "Healthy Baby Finalist" son named Marshall. A future DMHS student?


Warren Naai: Warren has been working at Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard since 1979. He has a Bachelor's degree from Yale in Chemical Engineering and has worked as a shift test engineer on nuclear submarines. Currently, Warren is a supervisor in the test engineering division and resides in the Liliha area with his wife Joanne and two BRILLIANT daughters (there, that was different!). Both attend the other evil empire on Punahou Street and plan to support their parents in their old age.


Jason Nakao: Jason and his wife Dela have three beautiful children (of course!). Jason's eldest is a full-time student at HPU and intends on pursuing a Master's degree. His middle child is an eigth grader at Ilima Intermediate out in Ewa Beach. Their "oops" baby is two years old now. Jason works at Matson Naviation and was previously at Amfac Distributors for 21 years. Jason still surfs and now drives his 1927 Ford Roadster "RollOffs Hawaii" race car at Hawaii Raceway Park.

Danny Pacheco: Danny is a broker/partner at Island Heritage Realty. His business card shows a great picture of him as the trim, fit kind of guy you'd want as your realtor.
Ross and Lisza Pontes will be joining us. They are flying in from Santee, CA.

Ronald Shimabukuro can't make the reunion but reports that he has retired from the Army and is now working as a civilian at Fort Irwin Army base.

Wayne Sonn - As far as life goes, I joined the Navy right after graduation. Spent the next couple of
years cruising around the South Pacific aboard the USS Fort Fisher (LSD 40).Left the Navy in 1978 and hired on at The Boeing Company in 1979. I have been in Quality Assurance ever since. Currently, I am the QA Manager responsible for the AWACS (E-3), TACAMO (E-6) Airborne Laser (ABL), NIMROD (British AWACS), and Airborne Surveillance Test bed (AST)programs.I got married in 1988 but do not have any kids of my own. My wife has a couple of boys from a previous marriage but they are both grown and out on their own. My wife Freilah has her own clothing design business called Fashions by Freilah
(http://home.earthlink.net/~freilahfash/). We live in Renton which is just south of Seattle.Glad you remember that I graduated from Damien. If you all remember, I was a mainland import from the Brother's school in Seattle, O'Dea, and was only with you guys for the Senior year.

Randall Tome: Randall did not divulge any secrets on his RSVP form. However, he would like to have everyone come up during the reunion program and relate one "Damien moment" to our class. (Some of us had many such moments, some of which were regrettable.) Randall also wants a "guys only" night at a bar with Hawaiian music. Any suggestions

Ryan Tsuji: Ryan and his wife Georgene have three beautiful children...this is getting repetitious! His wife graduated from the evil empire up the hill from Damien, but hey, who am I to judge! Imua Kamehameha! Ryan would like to organize a Class of 75 group for the annual Damien golf tournament.

Derek "Duke" Wong - We left So Cal in September 96. I took a position with Hawaiian Tel which included a full relocation package which I couldn't pass up. I'm married to Lani, I met her while working at GTE California. She's from San Pedro and Oxnard. We have two kids, Robert 8 and Kela 6. We've been married 9 years now.Hawaii has changed quite a bit. However, the politics are still the same...Now I remember why I left in 75..I haven't seen many of our classmates. John Coito is my insurance agent. Terrence Ito has been with HPD for sometime now. Alvin Borges took over his father's shelving business. Dorman Chee works for Continental Airlines. Warren Naai works with my cousin at Pearl Harbor.
